Full Job Description Equivalent Experience
Description:
Assist with product extractions within a sterile environment
Document experimental results in lab notebooks and by electronic means and disseminate to superiors
Assist as needed with general field duties including; seeding, watering, harvesting, inoculations, field maintenance, etc
Maintain laboratory including; glassware cleaning, record keeping, and general organization Additional Skills & Qualifications:
B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Chemistry, or relevant scientific discipline (or Associate’s degree plus 2 years lab experience)
Experience with general microbiological techniques; plating, streaking, subculturing, and sterile technique desired
Ability to effectively communicate using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary
Shift: 1st shift, Monday thru Friday with some occasional overtime
