Full Job Description Pleasant Grove Christian Learning Center is hiring for a full time Preschool Assistant.

We are seeking a reliable individual to assist in providing a quality preschool education to 4 and 5 year old children.

Job responsibilities:
-follow and implement a set curriculum
-be able to provide consistency and routine
-provide a safe and nurturing environment
-ensure children are accounted for and supervised at all times
-build and maintain positive relationships with children, co workers and parents
-work together with other staff in a classroom to create and implement a preschool lesson plan- if applicable.
-communicate with parents
-daily cleaning including but not limited to- sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
-disinfecting of toys, equipment and surfaces
Job requirements
-high school diploma or GED
- CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate), IECE or equivalent or willing to pursue upon hire.
-obtain a TB skin test
-undergo and pass background checks
-physically active and able to lift 25 lbs, stand for periods of time, crouch and kneel frequently
-ongoing training required yearly
