Full Job Description At Artix Entertainment, our days are full of magic, monsters, and building massive world-changing adventures. We’re looking for a talented, creative, and highly-skilled user interface programmer to join our team of game designers as we expand our current worlds and forge the foundations of new ones.

Notes for applicants:

• This is a short-term contract role. (There may be an opportunity to extend the contract into future projects.)
Essential functions: (not limited to below)
• Creating basic gameplay animations (idles, walk, run, attacks, deaths) using Anima2D
• Rigging and skinning models
• Animating characters, monsters, particle effects and other game content
• Other tasks as needed
Qualifications/Skills
• 1-3 years animating
• Strong familiarity in Unity 2D / 3D
• Good understanding of animation curves
• Experience importing animations into Unity
• Basic knowledge of Flash, Photoshop, and file exporting best practices
• Can create basic gameplay animations (Idles, Walk, Run, Attacks, Deaths)
• Knowledge of mobile optimization best practices
• Basic C# scripting knowledge preferred
• Ability to work on tight deadlines
• Good written/spoken English
• Highly self-motivated and organized with strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills: able to independently prioritize and multi-task
• BA or BFA in Digital Art, Animation, related degree or equivalent experience
Pluses
• Unity ParticleSystem experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Spine (2D animation software)
• Familiarity with 3D animation
