Job Description
This position will be responsible for the support of on-site installations, this position is flexible in terms of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. This includes but isn't limited to installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing the complex systems and equipment that this company produces. This company is heavily involved with research and development efforts, join a growing company today with next-generation, cutting-edge technology! Travel required.
Summary
This position is for an exceptional Field Service Engineer that has experience providing on-site support for various activities. Our client installs and operates CVD machines. This individual must be confident in a customer-facing role, while providing excellent engineering services. Most of the business is done as business to business, so the on-site visits are often at various facilities. If you love to be challenged, and have a part in ensuring optimal equipment and system performance, than this role is for you!
Field Service Engineer Responsibilities
• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair the company's equipment at customer sites
• Ability to trouble either the electronic systems and/or the mechanical systems involved
• Develop strong customer relations, while providing excellent service
• Report, track, and monitor system performance
• Must compile relevant data including reports, analyses, and statements pertaining to the equipment performances, and service schedules
• Possess an aptitude to work autonomosly and effectively
Field Service Engineer Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Proven history of performing field services at a high-level
• Knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent record of mechanical and/or electrical service engineering
• Proven personable skills
• Demonstrated, and effective work ethic
• Ability to travel regionally to customer sites
