Full Job Description Laminators
DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently places fiberglass material directly onto mixture of fiberglass particles, MEK and resin (which was sprayed by chopper gun operator). Rolls out fiberglass material ensuring that all air bubbles are removed. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
Fiberglass Finishers
DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of a supervisor, effectively and efficiently examines fiberglass finish for defects, and repairs, as necessary. Can involve drilling, patching, repainting. Smooth’s surfaces with sandpaper and buffs finish. Mixes repair materials as required.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
Uses power drill, grinder, buffer and spray gun.

1.) Gelcoat / Non-Skid / Fiberglass Webbing
2.) Spraying Chopped Fiberglass, Resins, and Catalysts onto Prepared Molds Using Pneumatic Spray Guns
3.) Operate and Maintain Gelcoat Gun and Fiberglass Chop Gun and all Laminating Equipment
4.) Using Roller to Lay Glass
5.) Meticulous and Rigorous Sanding and Grinding
6.) Able to Modify Fiberglass Parts, Checking Thickness, Densities and Contours to Ensure Proper Fit
7.) Have Great Problem-Solving Shills with Logical Thought Process
8.) Able to Take Direction and Maintain Work Loads
