Description:
General Summary
This position is responsible for the collection, organization, and execution of details associate with the IRONMAN Executive Challenge Program. This includes customer service responsibilites while in the office and on-site at events. The general propose of the logistics manager is to support the Director in all areas of duty specific to Executive Challenge.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
1. Create & implement efficient methods of collecting and exchanging pertinent details with XC athletes.
2. Act as a secondary lead on all on-site activities throughout race weekend. Including interacting with families/guests of XC athletes, and attending to XC athlete needs and requests.
3. Work with race directors, site crew, and staff (both with WTC owned events and licensed events) to coordinate successful planning & execution of XC events.
4. Maintain relationships with IRONMAN partners, vendors and professional triathletes associated with the XC program.
5. Updating of XC website post event with photos and results.
6. Sourcing items for promotional products.
7. Develop XC Merchandise (work with designers, manage inventory levels, pack/ship globally).
8. Create digital and print collateral.
9. Work with the Active registration platform on the XC application process and XC athlete event registration process.
10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business code of ethics.

Job Requirements
Education and work experience:
1. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university.
2. Knowledge of the sport of triathlon is a plus, but not a requirement.
Skills and knowledge:
1. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individual personality types (top level executives, spouses, children and guest of XC athletes) for up to 17 hours on race day and throughout event weekend.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite (InDesign), Basecamp.
3. Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress is required.
4. Friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented.
5. Remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
6. Detail oriented while maintaining an extremely positive attitude.
7. Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision.
8. Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems.
9. Uses systematic approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.
10. Strives to exceed goals and expectations.
11. Team player with a "can do" attitude that can work in a fast-paced environment.
12. Ability to establish and maintain professional atmosphere for employees, clients and customers.
13. Travel required (approx. 25%), able and willing to work weekends and extended hours as required.
14. Ability to lift 40 lbs or more.
15. Ability and comfort level of transporting athletes/guests in 15 passenger vans.
