Mandatory Skills:
Should be 7 - 9 years of IT experience with a strong emphasis on analysis, design, coding, and unit testing
Should be 2 - 4 years of extensive experience in Big Data development project
Well-versed in Big Data related skills such as Hadoop, Map Reduce, Hive, Yarn, Spark, Scala and Java
Extensive experience in handling the tools such as Eclipse IDE, IBM Rational, Apache Sqoop and Hue
Worked on Sqoop to import data to Hive
Responsible for creating Hive tables, loading data and writing Hive queries
Dealing with humongous amount of data, analyze them and derive insights using Spark SQL
Worked in teams and as individual contributor as well as trained several people in Hadoop and Spark
Experience in coding on Java
Design and develop application system that meet the stakeholder's needs.
Prepare high level and detailed technical specifications for the projects in accordance with PLC, security and architecture documentation objectives.
Develop and deploy solutions and test them for accuracy.
Assist in building of architecture to provide solutions to complex requirements. Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
Participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, programs and unit test plans.
Define data structures and application solutions, identify problems and recommend changes and solutions to implement best practices.
Provide support to existing applications and trouble-shooting problems and creating solutions.
Take the lead on significant projects and work closely with business stakeholders.
Analyze solutions in meeting the data quality requirements. Participate actively in requirements gathering, data modeling and design sessions.
Experience in banking domain is a plus.
