Act as a veterinary resource for 5D Tropical on all GloFish and non-GloFish lines 75%
Â
• Oversee the health of all GloFish lines in production
• Meet with large customers that require quarterly or annual audits (Petco and PetSmart)
• Communicate with large customers on calls regarding GloFish or other livestock health concerns
• Sign health certificates for exports as needed
• Participate in 5D weekly production and health meetings
• Act as GloFish lead on co-development of fish vaccines
• Act as liaison between producers and GloFish on all health issues
• Run diagnostics using necropsies, bacterial cultures, and sensitivitiesÂ
• Work with outside labs for larger issues

Support GloFish Riverview facility and new product development 15%
Â
• Identify unknown pathogens and recommend treatments
• Act as primary contact with the UF Tropical Aquaculture Lab on all GloFish health concerns
• Partner with Quality Control, R&D, and Regulatory to propose changes in SOPs to increase fish health or minimize bio-security riskÂ
• Prescribe treatments as necessary

• Must be willing to work in extremely hot and humid conditions
• Majority of time will be spent on production farms in Hillsborough County, FL
