COMPENSATION PROJECT LEADER Business & Information Technology Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm Day Shift - Full Time Paygrade/Wages/Salary Info: EX E32 - 32.0000 - 40.1500
Position Highlights: The Compensation Project Leader is responsible for leading the implementation, communication, and administration of compensation plans, policies and programs, including market pricing, salary administration, annual incentive, supplemental pay programs, analytics, auditing and reporting. This position collaborates primarily with other members of the Compensation team, but often with other key stakeholders in Human Resources and Moffitt#s leadership team, to ensure compliance with current programs, address issues or questions in administration of current programs, and identify opportunities for improvement. This position ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and pay regulations, e.g., FLSA, DOL, etc., in the administration of compensation plans, policies and programs. Functions as a leader for compensation-related projects and as a team leader/advisor to other team members.# #The Ideal Candidate: ######## Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to draft clear, concise communications and documents. ########Proficiency in analysis and interpretation of large volumes of data. ########Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously. ########Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail. ########Able to work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment. ########Ability to develop and sustain relationships with all levels in the organization. # ######## Preferred: Prior experience administering software for performance management and/or compensation market data software.# ######## Preferred: Process and project management skills. # Responsibilities: Provides project leadership and/or expert guidance to the Compensation team for the major initiatives in the department such as the annual market review, evaluation processes, and merit increase processes, with a focus on continuous improvement of the processes. Administers the non-faculty incentive plans, including the management, key contributor and staff incentive plans; makes recommendations to improve the design and administration of the plans, including creation/updates to plan documents. Leads annual market survey process in conjunction with Compensation team. Serves as project leader for compensation initiatives such as audits, policy reviews/updates, benchmarking/market review of best practices, process improvements, and educational presentations. Regularly reviews pay practice processes, analyzes methods and tasks, recommends process improvements to streamline and improve accuracy. Partners with stakeholders, including Moffitt Leadership and HR partners, provide guidance and interpretation on compensation philosophy and programs. May act as backup Compensation Consultant to assist with work-load. Other duties and projects as assigned. ########################## Credentials and Qualifications: # Bachelor#s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related degree with a certification in of the following: PHR/SPHR, SHRMCP/SHRM SCP, or CCP. # Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience in the administration of compensation programs, including: two (2) years in Moffitt Human Resources or in healthcare or related environment. Advanced knowledge of FLSA regulations and other related federal, state and local employment laws. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required. Advanced Excel skills with the ability to quickly create and modify complex reports, spreadsheets and databases (Pivot Table, V-Lookup, Graphs/Charts).as appropriate.
