Description
The Staff Accountant will participate in the monthly close process, complete analysis of general ledger accounts; audit, reconcile, and balance financial records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Participate in the monthly close processes including preparation of journal entries and closing schedules.
• Perform audit, review, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts by entity to ensure tax compliance.
• Record inventory adjustments.
• Reconcile monthly credit card statement.
• Assist with audit preparation and requests.
• Assist with year-end tax schedules.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and support senior management with projects, as assigned.
• Assist with compiling Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for all accounting policies and regulations.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must exercise diplomacy, discretion, sound judgment, and flexibility in varying situations, and must maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of standard accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents.
• Strong analytical skills a must.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of NetSuite general ledger system and Windows operating systems software including, but not limited to Word, Excel Pivot tables and V- Lookups, and PowerPoint. Great Plains knowledge is a plus.
• Multi-entity/subsidiary experience is highly preferred.
Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure, Certification)
• Minimum of four (4) years of financial accounting experience.
• Four degree in accounting/finance.
Working Conditions
Staff Accountant will work in areas that are highly visible and designed and furnished to make a good impression. Most work stations are clean, well-lighted, and relatively quiet. Work is primarily sedentary in nature.
