Special Counsel is looking to interview a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity with a busy locally based law firm client. The ideal candidate should exhibit a high attention to detail, be a team player, and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, analyze and organize documents for commercial real estate transactions
• Review and analyze corporate financial information
• Resolve and investigate title issues
• Draft closing documents, contract amendments, easements, objection letters, and other documents related to the acquisition and disposition of real estate
• Correspond with clients, banks, city and county offices
• Order and review title commitments, surveys, estoppels, and payoff statements
Qualifications:
• Seven plus years’ experience in commercial closings, high-dollar loans, and retail development highly desired
Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Closing software a plus
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Paralegal Certificate and/or FRP a plus
Experience: At least Seven years’ experience as a Paralegal, handling commercial closings
Employment Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
