Full-Time Job Details Description The National Manager of Training will be responsible for the training strategy and curriculum development for all positions (salaried and hourly) within the Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar system. This individual will be responsible for providing guidance on successful training execution, managing a team that will create new training curriculum to address restaurant needs and keep current training and reference materials updated based on changing business needs. In addition, this individual must be comfortable with working independently, prioritizing tasks and interacting with all levels within the business to design and create effective training solutions. This role reports to the Director of Training and Integration, and is based in our Tampa, FL Restaurant Support Center.  The role is slated to work remotely until such time as the Tampa office is re-opened in full. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Leads the design, development and execution of learning curriculums. Manages restaurant training programs and initiatives, and directly supports the successful design, creation, development, implementation, library maintenance, tracking, and promotion of educational programs, initiatives, materials and tools to support the learning needs of the organization. Communicates with cross-functional groups to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies. Provides information and support to cross-functional departments and projects. Manages the instructional design team. Assist in strategic planning and exercises, as needed. REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university or equivalent experience Experience/Skills: Minimum 1 year of training management experience Experience designing and creating training curriculum to address competency gaps Skilled in strategic thinking, focusing on developing and executing long-term training needs Working knowledge of adult learning principles with the ability to share knowledge with others Experience with job task analysis and needs assessments Ability to work with subject matter experts to learn the business and develop successful training modules Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify difficult content Experience developing online and in-person training solutions Comfortable guiding a team with limited direction Strong verbal and presentation skills Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Experience with Learning Management Systems Highly motivated individual self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills Qualifications
