Our San Leandro, CA operations is currently in need of a Quality Inspector to examine furniture for quality and defects. This is an important role as it is our first line of product contact, ensuring that only perfect products are being delivered to the customers.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of related experience in the furniture industry.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Quality mindset and a great attitude.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect finished product to ensure conformity to quality standards.
• Review production tag for verification of correct fabric, mechanism, etc.
• Communicate with Supervisor on flawed product.
• Resolves quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure cushions fit and line (seams/print).
• Use hand tools provided, when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Repetitive of pulling, pushing, bending, twisting, and standing
• Must be able to distinguish variation of color
• Must be able to unbox products to inspect
• Maintain a consistent work pace
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work scheduled hours on a regular basis
• Ability to work within a team
• Adhere to quality standards and safety practices as defined in the work instructions
• Possess willingness to cross-train on other jobs or lines as production dictates
• Lifting weight: 32 lbs. frequent
