Job Description:
Expectations
The Production Training Specialist will be utilized to optimize and standardize a broad range of production systems and processes for the production organization. Specifically support production operator certification/improvement and process safety management training program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
• Prioritize all ES&H related matters at highest level.
• Conduct and record PSM training; assist safety creating PSM training program for production employees.
• Evaluate operator and process performance according to key performance indicators with ERP/SCADA/PowerBI.
• Develop operator-training plans and conduct initial classroom training, job evaluation and certification.
• Develop and execute operator performance improvement plans.
• Update production employee training/qualification matrix.
• User/Troubleshooting Guide development, training, and usage.  Audit effectiveness.
• Assist engineering team with process troubleshooting, continuous Improvement projects, and RCA events.
• Shift maintenance work order reconciliation and prioritization.
Education and Experience
Education :
Associates degree preferred or high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 5 years manufacturing environment or related experience and / or training.
Professional experience :
Relevant work experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Familiarity with fast paced & multi-task work environment.
Communications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Word.  Ability and desire to work in a team environment
