The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
The role is to provide hands-on development knowledge for Java application development, deployment, automation in projects. The application is critical 7x24 operations providing message routing connectivity for partner applications globally. The role involves working with SWIFT, partner applications, business units and development vendor.
Requirements:
• Acquire hands-on application Knowledge and act as SME in team
• Participate in application development projects
• Provide technical assistance to development and support teams
• Analysis of business requirements for business initiative
• Testing requirements validation and testing oversight
• Provide L3 support for production systems
Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Experience building micro services using Spring boot, Spring Framework
• Knowledgeable in REST Web Services RDBMS fundamentals, SQL and Oracle Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, the CSS GRID system, Bootstrap, JavaScript, ReactJS/Angular.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting ES6 and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations.
• Experience working in Linux and shell scripting
• Experience in scripting language based development (Perl, Python) Complex file handling: Complex string editing, XML/JSON parsing (using Linux/Python) multiprocessing concepts of scripting (forking concepts and other ways to run tasks in parallel in Linux, Python multithreading and multiprocessing etc) Should be able to develop highly modularized code to ensure max code reusability (Linux functions, Python Functions, Classes and Objects OOPs)
• Knowledge on AMQ/MQ/Rabbit MQ/Kafka Knowledge of SWIFT messages / Payment domain Experience or knowledge of containerization/ECS/Open shift is desirable
• Experience in Agile & Kanban. Release and deployment management via CICD automation
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related field
