The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
The requirements and responsibilities for all aspects of the role include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with little supervision. Self- motivated and able to take the initiative to work closely with development teams.
• Provide leadership to offshore teams and manage project timelines that are consistent with strategic business and technical objectives.
• Developing detailed development and delivery project plans including resource plans. Tracking/managing projects from initiation to successful completion
• Responsible for the quality of the code written by offshore team by ensuring proper design reviews, code reviews, unit testing and integration testing.  Able to work well with geographically diverse teams.
• Conducting Brainstorming Sessions and other project meeting facilitation. Estimating duration and resource requirements.
• Identifying and escalating issues. Communicating project status. Resolving project issues, risks, and changes. Leading projects to overall success.
• Responsible for building effective and robust technical platform for the Cards AML Transaction Monitoring solution
• Responsible for technology knowledge management, adherence to strict SDLC discipline and firm’s technology standards.
Responsible for defining, within firm’s standard guidelines, controls for data management, reconciliation and any gaps identified for program’s data requirements.

• 5+ years of experience of Information & Technology with extensive knowledge in complete project life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, integration and testing.
• 3+ years experience in design, development & deployment of multi-tier enterprise applications for ETL Data warehousing, Core Java, Unix Shell scripting, Oracle SQL, and XML.
• 3+ years experience in working and leading the end to end implementation of Big Data projects, comprehensive experience as a Hadoop Developer in Hadoop Ecosystem like Hadoop, Map Reduce, Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), HIVE, Yarn, Hue, Spark.
• Solid ETL methodology for performing Data Profiling, Data Migration, Extraction, Transformation and Loading using Talend DI.
• Designed data conversions from wide variety of source systems including Oracle, DB2, SQL server, non-relational sources like flat files, XML and Mainframe Files.
• Experience in designing and implementing fast and efficient data acquisition using Big Data processing techniques and tools.
• Strong understanding of Big Data Analytics platforms and ETL in the context of Big Data.
• Extensive experience managing solution delivery teams spread across many countries and time zones.
• Effective communication skills and experience in customer interaction and requirements gathering. Played various customer interaction role in across the projects.
• Expertise in working fast-paced, multi-vendor, high-tech environments requiring skills in scheduling, management and team building.
• Ability to work well in both a team environment and individual environment.
• Experience with AML functionalities, compliance rule executions and regulatory functions.
• Experience with Banking products, Technology and solutions.
• Experience in program management, program ownership and Agile delivery lead.
• Specialized in streamlining the projects that includes migrations and application consolidation across cross functional teams.
• Key contributions in planning, risk and change management; Flexible and versatile to best practices in the data processing.
• Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
