Description:
This employee is responsible for performing secretarial, clerical and/or record keeping tasks required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide IEP support (scheduling, folder preparation, filing, and setting appointments.)
• Prepare monitoring logs
• Filing and documenting of documents in ESE folder (cumulative folder)
• Schedule interviews, IEP meetings, and testing for all Directors.
• Maintain cumulative folders and filing system for all other folders such as assessment, work folders, teacher folders, etc.
• Prepare and mail all correspondence both ESE and beginning of the school year information
• Maintain current enrollment lists for all schools
• Send requests for cum folders to be sent to The Academies.
• Complete SSI document requests
• Call in substitutes
• Maintain postage machine
• Register and enroll students
• Request and send student transcripts/cumulative folders as requested
• Maintain student attendance records to include all steps of the Attendance Policy process
• Assist with scheduling and planning school-wide events
• Act as liaison between school and home: emails, mail outs, phone calls
• Completing any other task as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Thorough knowledge of Exceptional Student Education policies and procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures.
• Ability to compose letters and memoranda independently.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all personnel.
• Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, etc.
