This position will report to the Production Supervisor.  This is a truly unique opportunity to help define an industry and build brand new markets. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Implement established Parallel and Industry best practices for manufacturing therapeutic cannabis based products.
• Responsible for daily duties related to manufacturing process of therapeutic cannabis based products.
• Comply with safety procedures and consult with department supervisor about any safety issues that may arise.
• Understands daily production plan, work flow of all positions within designated area (flower, MIP)
• Maintain appropriate records related to quality and compliance.
• Assist in recommendations for scalable procedures as company grows
• Active participant in training new hires.
• Ability to operate complex manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Understands and has ability to perform tasks for all work stations within designated area (Flower, MIP, Edibles, Soft-Gel) including but not limited to packaging, material handling, quality, pack-out, machine operator)
• Works closely with Lead Processing Technician to support all production, compliance, and quality initiatives.
• Willing to perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
• Age 21 or over (Required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
• Experience working in a manufacturing and production environment, ability to operate complex manufacturing and packaging equipment. Willingness to be flexible and work between various work stations to meet production plans.
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a production or Manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with quality control, compliance, inventory control. SOP/work instruction development.
• Travel as necessary (between locations).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Constantly operates productivity machinery
• The person in this position frequently communicates with other employees/supervision. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
