Job Description
We are looking for a C# developer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop these applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality products are essential.
Responsibilities
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Skills and Experience
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Solid understanding of the design and architectural patterns
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
• Solid Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus.
• Familiarity and working knowledge of Windows Presentation Framework (WPF)
• Familiarity and working knowledge of MVC and WebAPI development
• The knack for writing clean, readable code
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Using automated testing platforms and writing comprehensive unit tests
• Proficient understanding of source control/code versioning tools such as Team Foundation (preferred) and/or Git.
Education
• Bachelor's (preferred) or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, but will consider targeted work experience as well.
• Certifications a plus.
