Full Job Description A local packaging company in Owensboro has immediate openings for ambitious and energetic people to join their team. The successful candidate must be a team player willing to work with others to achieve production needs each day. This is a Monday through Friday position that offers both 1st and 2nd Shifts. This position requires someone to work at a fast pace and be able to stand on your feet long periods of time. The ability to read basic instructions is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Mark and Label Containers
• Count products and materials
• Examine and inspect containers to ensure that packing specs are met
• Remove completed or defective products or materials
• Seal Containers or materials, using glues, fasteners and hand tools
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment
Key Requirements
• Must be able pass a drug screen
• Must be able to stand, stoop and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 25#
• Must be physically able to use PPE, including face coverings, hair nets and safety glasses.
• Steel toed shoes are required

1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate - $11 per hour
