Role Overview:
The Training Specialist leverages their passion for Healthcare software and innovative communication techniques to ensure quality documentation and training is provided to our associates and clients. To be successful in this position you must be able to take complex information and communicate it clearly, concisely, and accurately. You will juggle a variety of projects. You will manage and facilitate client facing system training, onboard new employees, develop training documentation and elearning. An ideal candidate should be comfortable with remote training delivery tools & techniques. The Training Specialist is responsible for creating training materials for a comprehensive suite of Health Care, Quality and Compliance applications. This role requires the ability to collaborate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision, while prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written)
• Partner with Human Resources and other departments to continuously develop and manage the delievery of the corporate onboarding program
• Prepare for and deliver systems training to MHK clients, including but not limited to, creating new and updating existing training assets, confidence testing of environments prior to training, etc.
• Manage content and courses in the MHK Learning Management System (LMS).
• Create, update, and maintain MHK eLearning courses.
• Develop courses which prepare MHK associates in the proficient use of the Health Care, Quality and Compliance applications.
• Facilitating knowledge transfer between internal departments (e.g., Product Management, Client Services, Sales, etc.)
• Develop MK standard educational materials in support of each new release.
• Possess strong training delivery background including instructor-led classroom and virtual training
• Knowledge of Healthcare, Managed Care Organizations, Health Insurance care, quality and compliance requirements and supporting software applications.
• Basic understanding of technical terminology including system interface and integration.
• Excellent oral, written, and visual presentation skills.
• Preparing and organizing training materials for internal and external workshops, presentations, seminars, and other training engagements.
• Attention to detail and outstanding critical thinking and writing skills.
• Independently set goals and objectives, while remaining flexible to change.
• Research, compile, and present findings to leadership to make training and development program recommendations based on customer needs and deadlines.
• Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned as company/department needs develop
Education & Experience:
• Experience developing and delivering training content in Spanish
• Associates Degree required
• 2 â€" 4 years of experience as a corporate trainer preferred
• Familiarity with Instructional Design methodology (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
• Strong writing skills and knowledge of Topic Based Authoring a plus
• Software - Captivate and other like applications, TechSmith (Camtasia and Snagit), Office 365,
• Proven successful curriculum development and training programs
• Clinical/healthcare related training experience a plus
• May require up to 25% travel
• Training certifications a plus
