Forklift Driver Job Summary
Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Forklift Driver to work for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as weighing / measuring, operating a forklift, shipping, receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, 55 lbs repetitive lifting, and other related duties.
Pay Rate:
$12.00 to $13.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours:
Monday to Friday. Must be able to work overtime on Saturdays as needed.
1st shift: 7:00 am until 3:30 pm.
2nd shift: 3:30 pm until 12:00 am.
Forklift Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping, receiving, and processing income stock.
Weight and measuring products.
Place pallets in their designed areas.
Follow workplace safety standards.
Operate forklift to pull orders.
Using scan guns / mobile computers.
Forklift Driver Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Shipping and receiving experience.
Math test will be given.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and forklift.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs consistently.
Reliable and dependable.
Able to work under pressure.
