Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting
Position Purpose:
Responsible for the corporate accounting department and the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate completion within established deadlines.
• Manage month end closing process and closing schedules for all entities.
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by external auditors.
• Evaluate operational functions and provide recommendations for automation and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and review elimination entries, and financial reports and consolidate financial statements
• Prepare analysis reports for overall general ledger and budget variances.
• Manage special projects as needed.
Experience/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree preferred. 7 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in public accounting or healthcare industry. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
License/Certification:
CPA preferred.
