Job Description Senior Trainer – Southeast Region, Coldwell Banker Real Estate – Remote
This role will be responsible for supporting the Southeast region. This position is fully remote for the foreseeable future. As we come out of the pandemic and are sure that it’s safe to resume operations, this role will be required to travel to offices in multiple states including but not limited to: TX, FL, NC, SC, GA, TN, AL.
The Senior Trainer will use both virtual and live classroom settings to deliver CBU Learning Center training programs that support the vision and strategy of the Coldwell Banker brand. The Senior Trainer will bring a wealth of knowledge and best practice in delivery methods designed to help Coldwell Banker brand and affiliates achieve their growth goals.
The Coldwell Banker Senior Training position requires an individual with engaging delivery skills as well as strong communication, project management and problem-solving. This individual must have the ability to manage multiple projects from inception to solution. This individual must demonstrate an exceptional ability to understand each franchisee organization, the challenges they have, and how to relate the training materials to every participant in the classroom.
In order to execute an effective learning experience, this individual needs a general understanding of adult learning theory, including best practices in virtual and live classroom delivery, instructional design, eLearning methods, LMS systems and assist with adoption and implementation Coldwell Banker training programs in our franchised affiliate offices.
In addition to possessing depth of skill in the above areas, this individual will use a variety of instructional techniques or formats, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures to demonstrate a strong ability to manage training sessions to drive optimal outcomes and results.
What You’ll Do:
• Successfully deliver virtual and live learning to a wide range of audiences including sales associates and employees, scaling from office level trainings to large scale events.
• Assist with promotion and communication of CBU Learning Center courses and course initiatives.
• Act as a project manager to support company-wide rollout initiatives, scheduling and tracking implementation of education resources.
• Collect feedback after training.
• Proactively identify agent training needs and propose solutions to leadership.
• Actively develop productive working relationships with the Coldwell Banker training and Instructional Design teams.
• Support participants and answer questions through all aspects of their learning experience: classroom, blended, technical, etc.
• Multitask and effectively deal with people to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Be organized and use time management skills wisely
• Exhibit a deep understanding and connection to the training material and audience
• Use persuasion to shift people’s opinions and points of view as necessary in the classroom.
• Anticipate objections and prepare to overcome them.
• Encourage participation and actively engage all students in each class.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in delivering virtual and live classroom training.
• Real estate sales or management experience highly preferred.
• Strong organization, administrative, project management and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task projects and training course delivery.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) functionality.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with Coldwell Banker franchise offices.
• Ability to support instructional designers in best practice, providing hands-on guidance as needed for virtual and live classroom delivery options and ideas.
• Strong collaborative and influencing skills with the ability to identify risk and mitigate it
• Strong communication skills: written, verbal, presentation and engaging class delivery skills for all individuals
• Proficiency in O365 (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel 10-15 days out of the month. (once travel resumes)
Education/Experience
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in teaching or training; sales- oriented training is preferred.
• Experience in the real estate sales learning/training space preferred or real estate industry related
• Familiar with adult learning, instructional design and technology concepts
• Experience planning and executing small and large training events a plus.
