Torrens Law Group, P.A. is a consumer protection and foreclosure defense firm is looking for a legal assistant who can work in a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to enter the legal field. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and an easy-going personality. This is a family-friendly Law firm that encourages military veterans to apply. Our firm maintains a collegial work environment with opportunities for growth. No prior experience is required for this position, as on the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
• Managing the phones and voicemails- this includes calling/following up with new client leads, answering daily phone calls from current and new clients, and being able to take notes on calls and enter information in our database.
• Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
• Must have good customer service skills because this role is essentially the face of the firm
· Compiling, sending, and assisting new Clients with Retainer Paperwork
• Scheduling hearings, mediations, and appointments
• Handle loss mitigation applications on behalf of clients in foreclosure
• Administratively support and attend trials
• Prepare case briefs and summarize depositions, interrogatories and testimony
• Preparing mail that needs to be sent daily
• Drafting correspondence and simple legal documents
• Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
• Having attention to detail.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
