Very popular furniture company is looking for overnight Cherry Picker Operators in their Brandon Distribution Center. If you have worked operating a cherry picker before and moving furniture or furniture like products then this opportunity may be for you! This is a temp to hire position with a huge opportunity for growth with in the company. We currently have Put Away and Order Selector roles on the 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
- Operating a Cherry Picker to move furniture
- Using an RF scan gun to restock the racks
- Responsible for taking furniture and restocking back onto the racks
- May be responsible for helping the unloaders unload the trucks
- Adhering to all safety regulations to ensure a safe work space
- You will be going up 20 feet in the air while on the picker - can not be afraid of heights
We currently have 3 Receiving roles and 1 picking role so if you are interested in picking you will need to have a minimum of 2 years experience.
The essential functions of this role include:
•working in a non-temperature controlled environment
•manual lifting up to 50lbs
•standing for 8 hours at one time
•working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
•working weekends
