 POSITION SUMMARY:
**This position is working in a high profile environment where maintaining the utmost professionalism and confidentiality is critical. This role will be coordinating the testing process within a specified NBA team. This role will work Monday through Friday and will be needed to be available on weekends and late nights as needed.
The Testing Coordinator will be responsible ensuring that staff, supplies, orders and collections are completed in a timely manner for the location assigned. Will need to communicate effectively to internal and external clients including patients, sales, client service, logistics, senior management, and others. The Testing Coordinator must understand all fundamental phlebotomy, testing and COVID 19 procedures and ensure that all staff are capable of following these procedures.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES
Duties may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
* Act as liaison between the organization, Ops Area Manager, laboratory and others
* Key point contact person to problem solve and overall commander of the location day to day activities, 24x7 on call
* Problem resolution with issues including but not limited to: phlebotomy and swab collecting staff, specimen tracking, specimen resolution and scheduling adjustments, IT Support, Logistics Divers, Customer Service, POC technician and Supply procurement
* Coordinate collections for the organizations assigned
* Ensure that all specimens are collected, sent and received by the laboratory
* Coordinate schedules patient flow with the organization's point person, i.e. Head Athletic trainer, site physician, or other person identified by the organization
* Daily onsite supply and POC maintenance
* Reconciliation tracking and quality management
* Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Bachelor's degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Proficient computer skills
* Politically savvy with strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
* Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently
* Valid driver's license
* Must be willing to work various hours, even overnight
* Prefer technical experience, phlebotomy, lab technician, MLT
