Property Accountant in Rock Point Tampa, FL
$22 to $25 per hour
Full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM 8 hour shift
Expectations for the role
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable, security deposits and rent roll to financial statements for all properties
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports prepare monthly journal entries, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations
• General ledger analysis and review ledger accounts
• Oversee Accounts Payable function
• Financial Audits
• Reconcile Prepaid to Financial Statements
• Perform cash management functions
• Research and answer Property Managers' questions regarding tenant statements
• Follow policies and procedures and comply with Fair Housing, state and federal laws
Job Requirements
• QuickBooks experience is required
• AppFolio experience required
• Five or more years of experience in an accounting role is preferred
• Five or more years of experience in Property Management
