One of our leading clients has asked our exclusive assistance to assist in its search for a driven accounting leader for its rapidly-expanding Accounting and Finance department in the Tampa Bay area. This Director of Accounting will oversee all accounting practices, operations, reporting, and serve as the main point of contact for the external audit.

Director of Accounting Job Duties:
• Responsible for all accounting, reporting, statutory processes, and financial compliance matters of this global company
• Oversight and accountability for all operational accounting, ledgers and reporting for both US and international
• Assess, implement and monitor all internal controls
• Prepare timely and accurate information, metrics and reporting analysis for management and investors
• Support FP&A-related activities and assist in preparation of annual and long-term financial planning processes
• Perform financial and operational diligence with assistance of external auditors, to support global expansion
• Continued development of the accounting organization
Director of Accounting Skills/Qualifications:
• Accounting Degree required
• CPA certification required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical and operational accounting experience including general knowledge of tax matters and US GAAP
• Experience identifying areas for improvement and implementation of more effective and efficient processes and strategies
• Experience supporting international regions
• Self-starter with high integrity and a great attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
