Kforce is looking for Senior Network Engineers. Qualified candidates will be analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications. Designing and implementing computer and information networks, such as WiFi, LAN, WAN, Intranets, Extranets and other data communication networks. Performing network modeling, analysis and planning. Researching and recommending network and data communications hardware and software. Developing static and dynamic routing protocols. Creating IP addressing and protocols. Performing end-to-end system validation comprising provisioning, configuring, monitoring and testing long-term regression on CPE devices. Reviewing technical and product requirement documents and developing test strategies by evaluating individual requirements for end-to-end use case coverage. Performing interop testing with IOT clients for features utilizing CWMP (CPE WAN management protocol) and cloud-based frameworks. Creating and implementing wireless LAN security, PPPoE, MIMO and QOS prioritization. Configuring the IoT architecture and common IoT, ICE, SCADA, HMI, HCI and DCS products. Enhancing and configuring IP addressing, subnetting, VLSM, DNS, DHCP and ARP. Developing and implementing test validations of the networks and network protocols using testing tools, such as Octoscope, IXIA IP performance testing, Charles Proxy/Wireshark and ixCharoit. Validation of feature use cases from provisioning and test tools identification, test execution and creation of defects for feature test cycle. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the networks to meet project specifications. Participating in the deployment of applications and modules into the networks. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the networks as required by the project. Requirements: Master's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year's experience in position or one year's experience in Network Engineering field (or Bachelor's Degree and five years' experience). Special requirements: Experience with LAN, WAN, Octoscope, developing static and dynamic routing protocols and creating IP addressing and protocols. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
