ROLE SUMMARY
This is a senior role within GBS Financial Services & Compliance and will be part of the FS&C Treasury and Intercompany Operations group. TIO has approximately 170 colleagues located across our regions managing liquidity, foreign exchange, banking (and related intercompany); product, services and transfer pricing settlements; and intercompany financing as part of a global process. The successful candidate will lead a team of Treasury professionals and will be responsible for ensuring operations are delivered in accordance with current process design architecture with a focus on delivering best in class Treasury operations in the LATAM and Canada regions. The successful candidate will also have a central role in Treasury & Intercompany Operations financial, strategic and transformation activities.
This role will report to the Director, Treasury Operations.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Effectively lead a team of Treasury professionals.
• Manage day to day Liquidity Management operations for both centralized and locally managed activities.
• Provide oversight and management of strategic Treasury & Intercompany Operations projects, initiatives and programs.
• Lead the management of complex relationships in all markets managed by Treasury Operations in LATAM and Canada including local banking partners and regulatory bodies.
• Leverage new digital technologies to support automation and enhanced reporting, analytics and insights.
• Provide Treasury functional architecture support for migrations.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions leading to improved efficiency, cost effectiveness and value growth.
• Develop and implement reporting processes to track operational effectiveness and influence change.
• Develop individual team members using coaching, personal development and performance management skills.
• Provide guidance and support to the team with career planning and developmental opportunities.
• Participate in relationship management with key stakeholders including Corporate Treasury, Controllers, Digital, Global Tax, Finance Operations, Corporate Audit and PGS, identifying opportunities for collaboration to improve processes and service delivery.
• Show clear leadership competencies to create a culture focused on continuous improvement, internal controls and compliance.
• Liaise with regional GBS locations in areas of Treasury best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting; a professional accountancy qualification, MBA or other postgraduate professional finance qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years senior leader experience in Finance and Treasury environments.
• Advanced relationship management skills.
• Experience at a senior level in dealing with multiple stakeholders, regulators and banking partners.
• Strong senior Team player capable of contributing to overall organization performance with an ability to influence at all levels and coach other team members.
• Strong competencies in operational risk management and controls.
• Commercial acumen, strong communication skills, excellent emotional intelligence competencies and exceptional professionalism are prerequisites.
• Excellent project management skills, demonstrating the ability to plan and deliver results in collaboration with internal and external groups.
• Ability to influence and manage change with a strategic focus.
• Experience of working in a pan-LATAM environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a prerequisite; Portuguese beneficial.

The successful candidate should expect some travel to other Pfizer sites (Corporate and Operational) and external partner locations depending on organization and project activities.
