Job Title: Truck Driver
Location: Owensboro, KY

Reports To: Service Manager

Job Function:
Moderate to heavy physical effort; may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); work in area with high voltage electricity, hazardous equipment and moving parts; must be able to lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly; must be able to sit for an extended period of time (over 80% of the time).
Job Essential Duties:
• Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory.  Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed.
• Maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding vehicle and personal requirements, including all regulations enforced by DOT, OSHA, and company policy.
• Maintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition, insuring routine and periodic repairs are completed.  Keeps trucks and related equipment clean and orderly.
• Conducts daily vehicle inspections.  Insures that trucks are checked, refueled, and ready for the next trip.
• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and completes related documentation.
• Provides great customer service, which may include instructing customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required, and answering related equipment questions.
• Complies with all OSHA and Erb Equipment Safety and Health rules.  Participates in training programs as required.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Senior Management.
Skills & Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• 1+ years experience as a semi-trailer truck operator required.
• Knowledge of construction equipment preferred.
• Class A CDL required.
