The Director National Account Management, Workers' Compensation manages a designated group of National Accounts to meet or exceed revenue projections through focused and intense account planning and maintenance.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Works with corporate level management of designated accounts to set mutually beneficial annual goals and strategize to increase utilization of all services and programs, meet / exceed budget goals and ensure client satisfaction
• Works with management to set annual goals by product line, and strategize to increase utilization of all services and programs
• Establishes and maintains contact and effective communication with all levels of designated national accounts, including annual (minimum) business reviews illustrating utilization and savings
• Manages the process for the introduction, implementation and roll out of new products and services including focus groups and re-education as needed
• Works with National Account Management team and operational business leaders to ensure alignment of business processes and goals and the establishment of account management best practices.  Disseminates key information on national accounts to regional and key account teams
• Works with all internal areas to manage national account initiatives and deliverables and tracks national account initiatives
• Works with all internal areas to resolve and track client service issues and solve problems.  Champions client’s programs / initiatives.  Serves as point of contact for issue resolution and problem solving
• Assists with training and education of field staff
• Travel as needed to clients, conferences, events, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years of experience in workers’ compensation PBM industry
• Travel up to 25% of the time (nationally)
• Proficiency on the Microsoft Office suite
• Proven success in meeting deadlines / multiple deliverables
• Proven project management and issues resolution experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Exemplary communication skills to all levels
• Demonstrated success with presentations to all kinds and sizes of audiences

When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration
• Prior sales experience
• PMP certification
• Experience in pharmacy or ancillary or PPO or bill review or settlement or claims
• Claims management experience
• Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience
• Auto / No fault experience
• Experience working as a subcontractor
• Adjuster’s license
• Experience coordinating benefits
• Healthcare experience

The salary range for Colorado residents is $60,000.00 to $115,000.00. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. As of the date of this posting, In addition to your salary,  UHG offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Health, dental, and vision plans; wellness program; flexible spending accounts; paid parking or public transportation costs; 401(k) retirement plan; employee stock purchase plan; life insurance, short-term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance; business travel accident insurance; Employee Assistance Program; PTO; and employee-paid critical illness and accident insurance.
