Job Summary:
This role is responsible for managing the daily functions of the Carrier Invoice Resolution team.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Mentors, trains, assists, and manages the Carrier Invoice Resolution team to ensure all responsibilities are completed accurately and timely.
• Responds to carrier payment inquiries and reconciles carrier aging reports.
• Communicates and negotiates directly with carriers on all payment issues.
• Disputes incorrect carrier invoices and processes revised invoices.
• Files and processes all customer claims.
• Works with other BG departments to improve processes and correct errors related to carrier invoicing.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or related field.
• 3 to 8 years related experience in carrier billing required.
• Must process large amounts of data accurately and completely. Attention to detail is critical in this role and errors must be minimal and inconsequential.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent mathematical skills.
