**Description** Would you like to design, deliver, and manage successful ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions while working from home? If so, this position could be for you. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions that meet both current and anticipated requirements **Responsibilities** The ServiceNow Discovery Administrator assesses the impact of change on service quality and SLAs. The service-level management process is in close relation with the operational processes to monitor and control their activities by establishing metrics that can be monitored against a benchmark. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Position Responsibilities include: Design, deploy, and managed Discovery and Service Mapping solutions for both on-premise and cloud resources Define, create, and manage the Discovery infrastructure, including schedules, credentials, and mid-servers Define, create, and manage Service Mapping infrastructure, including patterns Provide Governance to ensure the integrity of Discovery and Service Mapping Develop, document, implement, and maintain Discovery and Service Mapping governance processes, procedures, and policies Create and maintain Discovery-related and Service Mapping-related documentation Design, develop, and deploy new Discovery or Service Mapping functionality Ensure that Discovery and Service Mapping are performing as expected Ensure Discovery meets it requirements, including schedule scope, schedule completion and CMDB data population Ensure Service Mapping meets is requirements, including CMDB data population Define, create, and monitor Discovery / Service Mapping health reports and dashboards Identify, investigate and resolve Discovery and Service Mapping issues Design and deploy Discovery and Service Mapping Integrations Design, implement, and manage Discovery and Service Mapping integrations with other systems Ensure that Discovery and Service Mapping are aligned with other methods of populating the CMDB Raise awareness and provide guidance to improve the understanding of Discovery and Service Mapping, the functionality of each, how each updates the CMDB, etc. Ensure Discovery and Service Mapping meet both the current and anticipated scope Review and provide recommendations on technologies that can augment Discovery or Service Mapping **Required Qualifications** + Comprehensive understanding and background in ServiceNow Discovery, including Cloud Discovery, and how each should populate the CMDB + 5 years' hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow Discovery, including ServiceNow Cloud Discovery + ServiceNow Cloud Discovery experience should include Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud APIs, Cloud Containers, etc. + Experience developing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining ServieNow Discovery governance processes, procedures, policies and related documentation + Strong knowledge of IP Subnets to develop effective ServiceNow Discovery schedules + Experience designing and implementing MID-Servers for ServiceNow Discovery + Experience creating / updating ServiceNow Discovery IP ranges and schedules + Experience must include knowledge of, and the ability to properly interpret and act on, CI IRE rules, discovery logs (e.g.: errors), patterns and probes (e.g.: debugging) + Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST + System administration experience using SHELL/BASH and / or PowerShell + Familiarity with XML and JSON language concepts + Familiarity with CyberArk integration with ServiceNow Discovery + Strong analytical and problem-solving ability + Strong interpersonal skills + Proven self-starter who is resourceful, takes the initiative, and sees it through + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to interact professionally with a diverse group + ServiceNow CSA + ServiceNow Discovery Fundamentals **Preferred Qualifications** + ITIL Foundation certified + In-depth understanding and background in Service Mapping + Completed Service Mapping of large and complex applications + Strong understanding of application architecture + Experience working with IT Application Owners and Enterprise Architecture to ensure effective Service Mapping solutions + Experience mapping cloud resources to applications + Experience with Java scripting **Additional Information** **Scheduled Weekly Hours** 40 <>
