Apps Dev Programmer Analyst required in Tampa for the Global Financial Messaging group. The role is critical in managing global financial messaging applications that connect to the SWIFT infrastructure. The responsibilities of the role is to provide support to partner application’s on-boarding and client on-boarding on SWIFTNet infrastructure and applications within the Global financial Messaging applications (Fin and Non-Fin).
The role includes analysis of client and partner requirements, creation of configuration documentation and provides support for customer and partner testing. Role include handholding with Operation and production support team for Partner/Client implementation on UAT and PROD environments, to arrange UAT/PVT testing, to provide testing support until partner / client successfully go live on Prod environment. Interact with SWIFT support and infrastructure team to analyze connectivity / protocol / interface level issues to take them towards resolution. This role is part of global implementation and client on-boarding team hence flexibility to work in different time zones is required.
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
• Analysis of client and partner requirements
• Analysis of application configuration requirements
• Implementation, planning and maintenance partner application onboarding for all Global Financial Messaging applications
• Provide technical/interfacing assistance to partner application teams
• Provide support for client and partner testing (UAT/PVT)
• Work on on-boarding process automation (Portal) based on SharePoint/InfoPath.
• Interact with SWIFT support and infrastructure team to resolve SWIFT Protocol issues on UAT / PROD.
• To work on Fin – NonFin on-boarding process integration project
• Flexibility to work in different time zones
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of experience
• Excellent knowledge of any payments network & connectivity is essential
• Good knowledge of  payment messaging protocols such as InterAct, FileAct & Fin will be preferred.
• Experience on Payment message formats including ISO20022 and ISO15022 formats is desirable
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer engineering or computer science
• Experience on working in global environment and businesses globally will be an advantage
• Experience in development, analysis & testing tools will be an advantage
• Experience/knowledge in IBM Message Queue (middleware) will be added advantage
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
• Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis in order to interact with US / UK onshore team and to meet urgent requests by Clients.
