ICG O&T Chief Operating Office is a driving factor in delivering value to our organization, our businesses, regulators and stakeholders.  With responsibility for Risk & Controls, Production Support and Business Unit Management, the Chief Operating Office enables the organization to execute on ICG O&T’s Vision and Strategy by supporting our people and leadership team.
The ICG O&T Chief Operating Office Reporting Sr Analyst will support senior management reporting focused on reduction of Processing Risk. Processing Risk applies across Citi’s core activities including safeguarding assets, lending, payments and accessing the capital markets, as well as internal activities performed to support the Citi franchise. This includes errors in account set up and reference data, initial transaction capture, transaction maintenance, payments and settlements, physical asset handling and collateral/margin management. The Reporting Sr Analyst will also need to develop an understanding of high risk manual processes within the bank.
Responsibilities:
• Work with various internal stakeholders to analyze in flight programs and their impact on high risk manual processes to create a reoccurring reporting
• Effectively manage ad hoc requests, status preparation and communications for deliverables
• Gather updates on a monthly basis and ensure continuous improvement of report content/format and processes (including the creation, collection, review, aggregation of data)
• Monitor for new programs and activities to be included in the report
• Monitor and track progress around implementation of in scope programs and remediation of identified gaps
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of information reported
• Conduct Book of Work Reviews and Program quality assurance oversight
• Ensure risks and issues related to the programs are escalated as required
• Provide ad hoc data analysis to identify potential issues and trends
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across ICG (including Operations, Technology, Front Office, Compliance, Finance)
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Financial Services, preferably in a project, program management, or operations role with project management experience
• Working knowledge of bank operations, trade processes, securities and financial instruments preferred
• Basic knowledge of Citi’s Institutional Client Group
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including ability to effectively summarize information and prepare senior management notes.
• Strong analytical skills, including data gathering, evaluation, and visualization
