Skills Required:
• Must have 5 years of experience in software implementation
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development position, is preferred
• Develop installation scripts using PowerShell
• Implement stable, high quality, high performance applications
• Debug, document and maintain complex programs
• Working knowledge of server/database procedures
• Working knowledge of source control (TFS)
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel
• Unit and integration testing and results validation
• Experience supporting production applications
• Experience working with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong problem- determination skills and resolution experience.
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• High degree of self-motivation, commitment, integrity and a self-starter
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience

Job Requirements
Work Description:
• Document requirements for POS service pack
• Development installation package using PowerShell and Publix installation process
• Unit test installation and release in stage environment
• Participate in the certification rounds performed by the testing team
• Work with testing team to resolve all defects founds in testing
• Document the release materials to implement the service pack
• Monitor the implementation of the release to all 1200+ locations
• Check-in the package into Harvest or similar tool
• Enhance base packages for efficiency
• Lab defect research
• Produce and fortify wikis for defect research and application documentation
• Create and enhance the process for training people for package rollup
