Full Job Description Primary Role: Directly responsible for the scheduling and shipment of products to our customers following all DOT rules and regulations. Manages and schedules the CDL and Non-CDL drivers. Ensures the loading of the product is safe secure and follows our standard operating procedures. Responsible for scheduling the routine maintenance/repairs of our vehicles as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Providing delivery schedules for our dealers, production staff, and order entry.
2. Daily communication with our dealer base to:
a. Confirm orders 2 weeks prior to production.
b. Confirm orders 1 week prior to shipment.
c. Confirm orders 2 days prior to shipment.
3. Accurate entry into ERP (Thor) to update dealer requested dates for use by production and shipping teams.
4. Acquiring the proper permitting in various states for oversized loads.
5. Scheduling third party vendors to deliver our product.
6. Recording IFTA information and driver receipts for each load.
7 . Review licenses and tags for renewals.
8. Receive incoming calls for ad hoc changes to dealer schedules and shipping configuration changes.
9. Track delays to confirmed shipments.
10. Provide our dealers, employees with excellent Customer Service.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Logistic/Shipping Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and permitting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form to plant manager, employees and vendors.
• Knowledge of oversized loads preferred.
• Ability to learn ERP system (Thor).
