Summary
The Project Controller & Systems Analyst will support the EPMO with the management, planning and execution of program/project activities and artifacts development during all phases of an Enterprise Program and/or Systems implementation. This role will be responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate schedules, timelines, budgets and program performance / metric information across the portfolio.
Contributes to business facing program presentations for project sponsors, dashboard creation, burn down graphs and other key metric criteria used to summarize and highlight critical implementation data. This role will also include analysis, design and development/deployment of internal EPMO systems to support the department and acts as a subject matter expert in PPM technology, assisting other project personnel in effective use of these tools. They will also support and facilitate EPMO development initiatives – including but not limited to process improvement activities, quality management, documentation creations, enterprise reporting development etc.
Essential Functions
• Project Controller & Data Analysis (40%) • Create, manage, maintain, and up to day schedules in a complex project environment.
• Develop policies and procedures to improve the adequacy and efficiency of the scheduling process.
• Assists project managers with tracking project schedules and work plans for required deliverables on both the client side and internal business side.
• Performs critical path analysis and develops timelines for competing priorities across the portfolio of projects.
• Tracks enterprise project performance against timelines, budgets and schedules.
• Manage the integration of data across multiple projects/programs, providing data analysis, enterprise project performance reporting and status reporting.
• Drafts meeting minutes, key business takeaways and maintains centralized data sources for projects managed by the EPMO.
• Maintains risks, issues, dependencies and project changes using appropriate and approved tools and/or processes.
• Follows up on action items, project deliverable and ensure timely delivery from stakeholder in order to meet the deadlines of any given project and/or program schedule.
• Keep project managers up to date on potential project timeline impacts due to prioritization delays for competing priorities.
• Assist the impact assessment activities of risks or project changes on the schedule and budget, following established best practice project management methodology. Maintains project artifacts, SharePoint sites, drives and other resources leveraged during all project phases and used internally on the team.

Systems Analyst (SME) & Reporting (40%) • Prepares portfolio reporting, which includes but are not limited to status, resource utilization, executive/business summaries, risk mitigation and project governance reporting.
• Define appropriate technology deployment strategies to increase organizations maturity in project management tool use
• Act as SME for PPM tools, document guidelines and procedures and train associates on use of PPM tools.
• Integrate PPM tools into the overarching enterprise management and reporting needs such as executive reporting, resources planning, workload modeling and data required at different phases of a project implementation.
• Customize, configure and troubleshoot software to support project management methodology and practices.
• Will maintain project specific documentation, EPMO standards operating procedures and project documentation templates, as well as centralized PM tracking system management and dashboard/governance report preparations.
• Overarching Team Support and Standards Upkeep (20%) • Overarching team support, UAT coordination and set up, project specific documentation support, PMO standards (SOP) and template upkeep, as well as centralized PM tracking system management and dashboard/governance report preparations.
• Independently lead small projects or initiatives based on budget or complexity.
• As a lead on small projects, they will be accountable and responsible for ensuring project tracks to budget & schedule commitments – and communicate status the business.
• Event coordination which includes venue selection, contracting, F&B, cost allocations, travel support, meeting scheduling, attendee communication etc. for events such as process engineering data collection, project discovery, stakeholder analysis and/or business requirements gathering sessions.
• Partners with our other business units such as IT to ensure seamless and on time delivery of projects that span over many areas of the business

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 2+ years project management experience, PMP certification a plus
• 1+ years of software configuration/implementation experience
• 1+ years of hands on healthcare data analysis/profiling
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
• Medicare and/or Group Insurance knowledge preferred, HEDIS measures a plus
• Solid analytical skills with ability to compile data from many sources and define use
• Strong computer skills in MS Office
• Maintains and applies knowledge of current trends, practices and developments in health care.
• Demonstrated ability and confidence in client facing interactions
• Display natural curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills in the approach to analytic questions.
• Ability to communicate complex issues and problems clearly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
