Seeking an ambitious, team oriented, positive energy leader for an exciting career opportunity on the growing accounting team for one of the premier companies here in Tampa Bay! This Accounting Manager will primarily be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions. Due to COVID-19, this is currently a full time remote position, and will return to the office with the team in the coming months.

Accounting Manager Job Duties:
• Perform financial close process for assigned business unit
• Prepare account reconciliations and proactively resolve potential issues
• Ensure revenue is tracked and recognized properly
• Assist with preparation of footnotes and disclosures for SEC filings
• Support the annual budget process and act as business partner across functions
• Assist external auditors and provide supporting documentation as required
• Maintain internal controls and processes, and identify opportunities for improvements
• Special projects, as needed
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• CPA or in pursuit strongly preferred
• 5+ years experience, including public accounting and private industry
• Strong GAAP skills and technical acumen
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Proven track record of effectively executing responsibilities and maintaining sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
