Classification: Sr. Accountant
Compensation: $70000.00 to $80000.00 yearly
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is currently assisting a local organization in a search for a Senior Accountant. Due to continued growth, the team is looking to add to this dynamic group. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and be responsible for the following:
• Prepare & analyze financial statements and coordinate month end close.
• Help create and improve monthly close process.
• Calculate & prepare journal entries, accruals, and GL/bank account reconciliation.
• Cash management.
• Review project level budget and variance analysis
• Assist with preparation and review of annual reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of schedules and support for external annual audit.
• Ad hoc projects as required
Job Requirements
• Advanced level Excel skills
• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Mid-level ERP experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
