Job Description **Remote opportunity; however, qualified applicants will be able to travel on-site in Tampa as needed.
Our client is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join their dedicated team.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities of the Security Engineer:
• Support networking, vulnerability/patch management
• Support change, incident, server, and desktop management
• Leverage SIEM cyber security tools
• Support business continuity/disaster recovery
Requirements of the Security Engineer:
• Solid understanding of PCI requirements and gap remediation, scope reduction methods (network segmentation)
• Experience with network access control (NAC), firewalls, IDS/IPS
• Technical leadership experience
• Broad range of skills across technical platforms - firewalls, servers, storage, security, cloud, etc.
• Working understanding of NIST security understanding
