• Responsible for sales tax compliance with various state agencies; Fixed assets maintenance using Sage software
• Balance sheet and P&L account analysis and reconciliations
• Staff development
• General accounting oversight
• Understanding of internal control concepts and processes to mitigate risks
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• Minimum 5 years as an accountant
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of accounting policies, standards and principles
• Knowledge of controls, control risks and assessments
• Experience in establishing accounting processes with adequate internal controls
