Overview:
Applied Fundamentals Consulting, LLC is seeking an Identity Management Threat Analyst with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully gather and analyze information from a multitude of sources.
The Identity Management Threat Analyst will work with the government client to provide comprehensive evaluations on individuals and entities to provide detailed analysis and mitigation recommendations with the client's core goals and mission in mind.
Responsibilities:
• Independently conduct deep dive research and evaluations utilizing a variety of TTPs, tools, and sources including, but not limited to applications supporting policies and procedures, the Internet, social media, and commercial and open source databases
• Research and provide briefs on the latest emerging threats, producing presentations, reports and visualizations that detail threats, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities
• Determine risks and appropriate mitigation strategies and provide findings in both written and oral presentation form
• Initiate, develop, and maintain a strong network of DoD, IC, Non-Defense Federal Department of Agency (NDFDA) and non-Governmental/academic subject matter experts (SMEs) with Identity Management related expertise and interests to determine evolving trends, establish best practices and TTPs, and share information related to Identity Management
• Perform analysis and compose clear and concise reporting using data identified during research
• Maintain an active understanding of the industry and relevant technologies/services
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop others
Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience coordinating IdM products with the DoD, the IC, industry and academia
• 3 years of experience developing and briefing proposed mitigation plans to senior Government leadership
• 3 years of experience identifying and reporting identity-related cybersecurity threats and conveying appropriate communications and device management mitigation techniques based on current technology and threat
• 10 years of experience in intelligence or other professional analytic position(s)
• 10 years of experience writing formal analytical reports and assessments
• Demonstrated expertise with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Publisher)
• Experience conducting research using the Internet and web-based search engines
• Experience building products with link analysis tools
• Experience working with SOF, data aggregates, brokers, credit bureaus, and / or other sources of data relevant to the entities being researched
• Signature reduction and/or Counterintelligence background
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is favorable
• TS/SCI Security Clearance required; and willingness to take CI Poly
