CREDIT ADMINISTRATOR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Credit Administrator position is responsible to work as a team player, assisting the Credit Department and Financial Services Management team with a variety of clerical and administrative support.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Well organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven person with strong interpersonal and administrative skills. Experience with Lien Laws and Credit applications a plus, but not required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Credit Applications: Pull credit information on applicants. Set up account information and communicate with perspective customers to gather additional information within 24 hours.
• "Notice to Owners":
Research property information.
Create notices and send out in a timely manner to secure lien rights.
• Liens: Research land records for legal descriptions. Research current lien laws. Prepare accurate lien recordings and ensure mailed appropriately.
• Collection Assist: Create 10-Day demand, service charge and bad check letters
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
• Organize reports & trade references
• Ensure customer and owner are notified and proper follow up is completed after liens and satisfactions are recorded
• Ensures that mailing information is retained and filed in accordance with company guidelines
**All new hires must complete pre-employment background check and drug test**
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum Associate's Degree
• Preferred Construction industry knowledge
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows Explorer skills.
• A high level of speed and accuracy in preparing legal documents.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and to multi task.
• Able to organize and prioritize workloads.
• A team player is a must.
