Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree; business degree highly preferred; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of commercial and business management experience in healthcare market. Clinical laboratory sales, marketing, customer service, financial experience a plus
• Strategic thinking, communication, interpersonal influence, networking, project ownership, and workflow management skills
• Proven success in selling large accounts, leading change management; talent development; and services development
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions preferred
• Experience working, presenting and communicating with key stakeholders
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills
Description
Director, Commercial Ops
The Director of Commercial Operations, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Southeast Division, will be responsible for overseeing and executing commercial strategies, key business functions and achieving annual growth, revenue and profitability targets within the Southeast Division, an operating unit of LabCorp, headquartered in Tampa, FL, with more than 5,000 team members, generating more than $1B in annual revenue.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent financial acumen and analytical skills, is highly creative and strategic and has demonstrated the ability to manage short and long term strategy; communicate and execute vision; forecast trends; capitalize on new and future opportunities; drive new business and revenue growth.
This role will oversee:
• Sales Operations (deal desk, pricing support, analytics)
• MSA-Specific Market Strategy Development
• Sales Strategy Development
• Division Marketing
• Specialty Sales
• Sales Support
• Sales analytics
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the divisional sales strategy to meet objectives for revenues, profit, and growth
• Direct commercial sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
• Attend high profile account presentations; provide coaching and leadership to sales managers
• Provide visible leadership and communication to the market
• Develop Region and MSA specific strategies, supporting local sales teams and Regional BUs
• Develop competitive knowledge and strategies
• Develop short and long term customer service strategies to ensure market leadership
