Echo Analytics Group, LLC is seeking contract-full time employee Mid-level Software Engineers with emphasis on front end design and development experience to work in Tampa, FL (with occasional CONUS travel), to work on a small product development team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain complex and innovative cloud-based web and mobile applications
• Develops applications using PHP, JavaScript, and the latest Microsoft .NET technologies. Experience working with SQL, Linux Ubuntu, Apache technologies, and TLS/SSL communications.
• Crafting, implementing, and enhancing user interfaces for workflows and analysis in a platform environment
• Contributes to product/project planning and design processes and meetings
• Gathering, sequencing, and identifying risk surrounding business and technical requirements
• Creates technical product documentation, including the product description, technologies used, development process, technical requirements for the product, special instructions, and presentation logic
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding technical development progress and status
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent field
• 2+ years DevOps
• Skilled in Agile software development
• 2+ years of experience in building software systems on AWS or Azure, including AWS or Azure concepts, tools, and APIs; using Platform/Tools (Form builders, workflow development tools, etc.)
• Absolutely self-motivated and results oriented
• The ideal candidate will have phenomenal development skills, be platform and language agnostic, take ownership of projects, be inquisitive about solving user problems, and bring fresh, viable ideas and questions to work daily
• Creative problem-solving skills and the passion to continually learn, prototype, and apply cutting-edge technologies are a must
• Understand basic control structures and elements of programs like loops, variables, functions, and potentially objects and classes.
• Strong working knowledge of web standards and technologies (JQuery, AJAX, CSS, XML, Node.js)
• Experience with Search and Analytics with Elasticsearch, Kafka, MySQL, and Postgres
• Be curious about user requirements and to learn new design ideas and development
• Understanding of Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) and the design principles
• CI/CD Experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• Reside in, or relocate to the Tampa, FL area
Preferred:
• Experience working on data engineering and data science teams/environments
• Experience with data pipeline development
• US Government SECRET or higher security clearance
