About the Job
Drivers run in West Texas mostly and New Mexico, hauling frac sand for the top customers in the industry. Drivers must utilize their time wisely and be available for dispatch in order to receive loads. After loads are delivered it is important to continue to check with dispatch if have enough time to drive before having to reset.
Detmar logistics focuses on safety of drivers and equipment. We ensure all trucks are in the best condition to drive as our fleet is 2018 or never volvos all automatic.
Job Summary
• Company driver (W2, solo)
• Pneumatic tanker
• Regional
• $1,800 - $2,000 total average weekly pay
• $2,000 sign on bonus
• 500 - 1,000 average miles per week
• Dedicated
Home Time
• 21 - 28 days out (stay out longer if you want)
• Get 4 days of home time for every 21 days worked
• No guaranteed weekends home

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
Hiring Requirements
• At least 25 years old
• Class A license without any of the following restrictions: Night driving (G) or No semi trailer (O)
• 2 years Tractor trailer experience in the last 2 years
• Experience must be with a 36 ft trailer minimum
• Must be able to pass urine drug test
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must have basic English proficiency
• Must have High School diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
• Must have a valid DOT medical card
