Job Description:
The Information Operations (IO) Lead is responsible for managing IO activities primarily in the USCENTCOM, USAFRICOM, and USSOCOM area of responsibilities (AORs). Managing these activities includes a diverse team of advisors, analysts, assessments professionals and planners to achieve organizational objectives within USCENTCOM at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
The IO Lead is the Program Lead at USCENTCOM for all IO Projects and Plans. This Lead will be managing the planning and execution for all program tasks, requirements, and deliverables to meet quality assurance standards for on time delivery. This includes overseeing and managing all operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management, and the government customer/s.
Additionally, the IO Lead will have program management responsibilities including reviewing status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, preparing status reports, assessing project issues and risks, as well as developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, for client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Overseeing staff potentially including a Deputy and IO/MISO planners for performance and hiring.
Required Education & Certifications
Master’s degree or higher in International Relations, Business, Communications or Political Science. Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Required Experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience with IO at the service or joint level, working on projects that support operations in the USCENTCOM, USAFRICOM, USSOCOM, or USEUCOM AORs. This shall include experience at both the operational and tactical level Experience performing work responsibilities listed above.
Preferred Experience
Proficient in statistical analysis packages including SPSS, SAS, and R.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
